TRL
Since 2005, TRL has been rewriting the rules of Rugby League. What started as a backyard game between mates has grown into Australia's most social team sport. But as the game evolved, the brand needed to catch up. We came on board to build an identity that captures what makes TRL different.
Unlike traditional Rugby League's hard-hitting intensity, TRL is all about community and connection. They needed a brand that reflected that spirit: energetic, inclusive and unmistakably social.
We developed a vibrant identity built on bold colours, playful angles and a distinctive speckled texture drawn directly from the rugby ball itself. The photography and videography captures players in motion, the spirit of the game, the movement, and the laughter.
The new website brings the brand energy to life while hosting a comprehensive CMS designed to give the TRL team complete control. Built to be fast, flexible, and easy to manage, the platform scales as they onboard new leagues, manage competitions, and grow the social side of the sport.
